Muralidharan is a fiction writer, screenwriter, script consultant, and literary translator whose work spans languages, geographies, and genres. His writing is rooted in deep fieldwork and a restless curiosity about how people make meaning.

With over a decade of professional subtitling experience across Tamil, Hindi, and international cinema, he brings a rare insider's understanding of how stories live on screen — and what makes them fail. From award-winning short fiction to feature screenplays, from ethnographic essays to translations of underrepresented literary voices, his body of work is united by a single impulse: to listen carefully and speak truthfully.

Based in Tamil Nadu, India, he collaborates with publishers, filmmakers, journals, and cultural institutions across the world. Available for commissions, script consultations, and collaborations.
